ABOUT RUDI
I started my career as an illustrator in the mid nineties and learned that my drawing skills were better served in the advertising industrie. To be able to draw everything from daily life needed for visualising ideas in advertising and tv commercials seemed a very attractive way to enhance my drawing skills. Represented by an agency for art freelancers in Amsterdam I kicked of my career as a sketch artist in the new millenium.
In 2003 I switched from paper, pencil and markers to digital drawing. I have done roughs to elaborated storyboards in a variety of styles and it is a lot of fun to do. Drawing people in any mood and situation imaginable has my biggest interest.
Since a few years I joined a group of illustrators, Lange Halen, who are specialised in speed drawing on location to provide visual interpretations of brainstorm sessions, corporate events and seminars. It is a more and more appreciated mean to support the experience and outcome of the events.
